Privacy Policy
Who we are. The service WASTE.LAND (site alfanest.digital) is operated under the AlfaNest Digital product line by AlfaNest Labs, a French entreprise individuelle (micro-entreprise) carried on by Marian George Grosu. What we collect
- Account: name, username, email, password hash, profile fields you provide.
- Marketplace: listings, messages, transaction metadata, Vault/Scraps ledger references (see Economy Rules).
- Technical: IP address, user agent, logs for security and debugging.
- Optional analytics: if you accept non-essential cookies, we may load Google Analytics or similar — see Cookie Policy.
Why we use it (legal bases)
- Contract — to provide accounts, marketplace, escrow, and payments in Scraps as described in our Terms.
- Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, product improvement (where not overridden by your rights).
- Legal obligation — tax, law enforcement requests where required.
- Consent — marketing or non-essential cookies where applicable.
Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet accounting and legal retention requirements. Technical and security logs are kept on a rolling basis consistent with our security policy. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Processors & transfers
We use service providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing (when enabled), optional AI-assisted features, and optional analytics. They process data only on our instructions. A current list of categories and, on request, named processors is available from privacy@alfanestlabs.com. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions, as required by applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, object, and withdraw consent. See GDPR / UK GDPR rights summary and contact privacy@alfanestlabs.com. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France: CNIL).
Children
WASTE.LAND is not directed at persons under 16. If you are under 16, do not create an account. If you believe we have collected data from someone under 16, contact privacy@alfanestlabs.com and we will take appropriate steps.
