// ECONOMY
The currency inside WASTE.LAND. Use Scraps for listings, messages, Vault escrow, and premium tools. They are platform credit—not a public cryptocurrency—and they follow the Terms of Service.
// DEFINITION
One Scrap is one unit of credit on the platform. Buyers spend Scraps to reach sellers, lock Vault escrow, and complete purchases. Sellers receive Scraps when a deal releases. Your balance and each charge show clearly what happened.
// INFLOW
Common ways Scraps arrive in your account:
// OUTFLOW
Typical charges:
// PACKS
Pick a pack that matches how you use the marketplace. Prices and taxes show at checkout in your currency.
Checkout is under construction. When you are signed in, pack purchases credit your balance on the server (recorded in the ledger; limits apply). Card billing will replace this flow.
// ACCOUNT
When you are signed in and your Scraps balance is above zero, the total appears beside Log in in the header (wide screens) and in the mobile menu, with the coin mark. It links back here. If you start Vault escrow without enough Scraps, you will be asked to add more first.
// RULES
Unused pack balances, chargebacks, and negative balances are handled under the Terms of Service. Scraps stay on the platform unless gifting or transfer is enabled for your account. Higher ranks may reduce fees—see Ranks.
Scraps power Vault, listings, and discovery across WASTE.LAND.
